Today, April 10, a solemn ceremony of handing over 77 cars for 24 subordinate and 53 district territorial units of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration was held in Bishkek's Old Square.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, Labour Minister Ravshanbek Sabirov, and representatives of regional departments.

«The transfer of cars is a historical event, for the first time in 90 years of existence of the social protection system, district and city departments receive such support. First of all, it is support from the President, who understands that improvement of working conditions of social protection workers is followed by improvement of quality of social services. This is a great appreciation of the work of our social workers», — said the Minister.
 

He noted that social workers daily face difficult tasks - they help people with disabilities, elderly citizens, families and children in difficult life situations. Often they have to cover long distances on foot, in any weather, to provide the necessary assistance.

«Social workers deserve this support. Never before in all 90 years of existence of our social security system have they been given service cars. This is a landmark event, symbolising a new stage of development of our sphere», — the minister added.
 

The Labour Minister thanked the President and the head of the Cabinet for the attention paid to the social sphere.

«Unprecedented support by the head of state the sphere of social protection feels constantly. Today, 77 cars produced at the first domestic car factory TULPAR MOTORS are sent to the most remote corners of our country to serve people», — the Minister emphasised in his speech.
