Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, took part in the 44th meeting of the Coordination Transport Meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The event was held in the framework of the International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” in Moscow.

Arzybek Kojoshev emphasized that the primary task of the EAEU is to jointly build transport communications on the basis of self-sufficient service infrastructure and sustainable transport communication technologies with the main components: speed, safety, cost and stability.

“The advantage of the EAEU and CIS countries is infrastructural compatibility, experience and traditions of cooperation, which can undoubtedly contribute to the formation of new transit corridors and joint access to major markets of transport services,” the EEC Minister noted.

The event was attended by the heads of transport departments of the CIS countries, who considered and discussed a number of joint activities aimed at fruitful development of international transport corridors, infrastructure and modernization of transportation by all modes of transport of the Commonwealth countries.
