Today, 21 April, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov arrived on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain at the invitation of the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The flight of the Head of State landed at the Bahrain International Airport.

President Sadyr Zhaparov was met by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani and other officials.

State flags of Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain were displayed at the airport, a carpet was laid out, and a company of guard of honour was lined up.

As part of the official visit, Sadyr Zhaparov is scheduled to hold talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Kingdom of Bahrain Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and other officials of the kingdom to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.

During the meetings, the parties will discuss topical issues on the development and expansion of bilateral Kyrgyz-Bahrain cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest, including trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and other cooperation.

It is also planned to sign a package of bilateral documents between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain.
This is the first ever official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
