From 20 December 2024, it has become easier for labour migrants from Kyrgyzstan to organise a move to Uzbekistan. The mobile application ‘Work in the EAEU’, created by the Digital Initiatives Fund of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB Digital Initiatives Fund), now has access to 19 government and commercial services that will help with paperwork, job and housing search.

Now, if you are planning a labour activity in Uzbekistan, you can directly through your smartphone:

• find vacancies,
• apply for a personal identification number (PINFL) and a registration card,
• use tax services,
• learn all about visa regimes, obtaining IT visas and work permits.
• In addition, the app will help with finding accommodation and buying plane or train tickets.

The Uzbek segment of the application already offers 19 convenient services, and this list is promised to be expanded in the future. There is also full information on laws and rules for labour migrants so that you do not have any unnecessary questions about moving.
