KGS strengthened against all major currencies. Currency rates as of 29 March

The National Bank published official exchange rates for March 29. According to the updated data, KGS strengthened against all major currencies.

The dollar decreased by 0.12% to KGS 86.4. Euro fell by 0.09% to 93.1262 KGS. The ruble fell 0.17% to KGS 1.0272 (it was KGS 1.029).

The tenge lost 1.15%, falling to KGS 0.1717, the yuan lost 0.08% and is now at KGS 11.8983.

Kyrgyzstan has introduced a ban on import of certain construction materials
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has temporarily banned the import of certain types of construction materials by road. The corresponding decree № 169 was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev on 31 March 2025. The ban is set for a period of six months.
