Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev inspected the progress of works on the improvement of the Ortosai market territory.

Today, a multi-storey car park for 252 parking spaces is under construction on Bezymyannaya Street at the intersection of Zhukeyeva and Pudovkina Streets.

The Mayor instructed to complete the construction work by the end of May this year, to consider the issue of improving the adjacent territory, as well as to repair the children's playground and football field near the residential buildings.

The Mayor also checked the work of the rotary car park behind Bezymyannaya Street. The structure is designed to accommodate 10 cars and has four floors. The rotary car park is currently in use. The cost of parking is 25 KGS for the first hour and 25 KGS for each additional hour.

The company ‘Bishkekasfaltservis’ was instructed to consider the issue of arrangement of an access road to the rotary car park for the convenience of the city residents.

In addition, the head of the municipality inspected the new waste sorting station. Currently, there are two waste sorting stations on the territory of Ortosay market, which will greatly facilitate the task of MSW disposal.

The Land Use Control Department should check the legality of the facilities around the market and take measures to dismantle illegally installed iron fences.

As a result of the inspection, Junushaliyev instructed to control the quality and timeliness of fulfilment of all tasks.
