For three years within this project ‘Social Contract’ 3.3 billion KGS were allocated from the republican budget for 32 thousand 226 families, and additionally 3 thousand families were covered by the World Bank. Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration Ravshanbek Sabirov said this at the briefing.

The Minister presented a breakdown of families who received social contract by year. Thus, in 2022, 2 thousand 800 families received a social contract. In 2023 - 10 thousand families, and last year 19 thousand 426 families received support from the state.

«During this time, the programme has implemented business programmes for 35 thousand 226 families, of which 73.3% are engaged in agriculture, 13.8% in production, 6.7% in trade and 6.2% in services. Monitoring revealed that 94.2% of the programme participants were women living in rural areas. Additional 43 thousand jobs were created and living conditions of more than 190 thousand people across the country were improved», — Ravshanbek Sabirov noted.

At the same time, according to the monitoring results, 138 families out of 35 thousand 226 could not implement the social contract for various reasons, including loss of assets due to force majeure or voluntary refusal to participate in the programme for health reasons.

«In 2025, 13 thousand 334 poor and low-income families will be able to receive 150 thousand KGS each under the social contract», — the Minister specified.
