    Prices in Kyrgyzstan for January - February increased by 1.6%

    In the first two months of 2025, consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan increased by 1.6% compared to December 2024. 

    Food and beverages became more expensive - their cost increased by 3.2%. Prices for alcohol and tobacco products rose by 1.7%, and tariffs for services for the population increased by 0.8%. At the same time, prices for non-food products, on the contrary, decreased by 0.6%.

    The growth of prices and tariffs affected all regions of the country. The largest increase was recorded in Osh oblast - 2.8%, which is due to the rise in prices of non-food products by 0.5%. In Osh city itself, food and non-alcoholic beverages rose in price the most - by 4.9%, as well as alcohol and tobacco - by 6.2%. In Issyk-Kul oblast, tariffs for services increased the most - by 2.2%.
