One of the forum’s participants was Gulzhanat Raimbekova from Bakai-Ata District in the Talas Region. In 2022, she signed a social contract with the government, receiving financial support of 100,000 KGS. Using these funds, Raimbekova purchased eight sheep and acquired livestock management skills.
Later, she decided to expand her activities and began producing soap, collaborating with designers to create unique packaging. After training at the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS), she organized free soap-making workshops for low-income families and earned the status of a mentor.
Another participant was Aizada Toksombaeva, a resident of Bayet village in the Issyk-Kul District. In the same year, she invested 100,000 KGS received through the social contract into establishing a small workshop for producing soap and glass products. Having completed her training at ARIS, Toksombaeva actively participates in events aimed at supporting local communities.
The forum highlighted successful projects implemented by participants and discussed prospects for further development of local initiatives. Special attention was given to experience sharing and creating new opportunities for economic growth by supporting grassroots initiatives.
