Chairman of the State Tax Service Almambet Shykmamatov approved a new structure of the central apparatus of the agency. This became known today, 20 January, during the traditional meeting of heads of departments of the State Tax Service on Monday.

In particular, reduced the functionality of the Department of checks of the central office. Before the reorganisation, the activities of this department were focused on the so-called field inspections. This mainly concerned large businesses, dissatisfied with this state of affairs.  

Now the central apparatus of the tax service will not conduct any field audits. The Department of inspections will deal exclusively with planning, analysis and risk assessment, reporting, monitoring and methodology.  

Inspections, according to the approved plan, will be carried out by territorial tax services. They are much easier to control, so the corruption component there is minimal.

Experts believe that the refusal of field audits by the central office of the State Tax Service will have a positive impact on budget revenues.
