Commissioner for Children's Rights Asel Chynbaeva took part in a roundtable discussion on piloting a voucher mechanism for financing preschool education.

The event brought together representatives of government agencies, entrepreneurs in the field of education and experts. The purpose of the round table was to familiarize with the procedure of piloting the voucher mechanism to improve the accessibility and quality of preschool education for socially vulnerable children.

During the discussion, the procedure for introducing and financing educational services through vouchers (presented by the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic), the plan for the implementation of the pilot project (with the participation of ministries and LSG bodies), as well as recommendations for the successful implementation of the mechanism were discussed.

Asel Chynbaeva emphasized the importance of the voucher mechanism for access of vulnerable children to quality preschool education.

Following the discussion, the participants adopted recommendations for the implementation of the pilot project.
