Bishkek authorities intensified the fight against illegal advertising: 336 violators were fined

The Municipal Inspectorate of the Bishkek Mayor's Office has intensified measures against advertising in unauthorized places. As part of the fight against violators, inspectors are eliminating advertisements placed on light poles, walls of buildings, fences, public transportation stops and trees. These actions are aimed at preserving the aesthetic appearance of the capital.

As of December 17, 336 protocols were drawn up under Article 107, Part 3, of the Kyrgyz Republic's Contravention Code. The total amount of fines reached 1 million 84 thousand soms. The owners of advertising materials are obliged not only to pay the fine, but also to eliminate the consequences of violations.

“Residents and entrepreneurs need to comply with the rules of placement of information and advertising structures. Violators face fines: from 1 thousand soms for individuals and 5 thousand soms for legal entities,” the municipality reminds.

Citizens are urged to be responsible and respect the rules in order to jointly maintain order and attractiveness of the urban environment.
