Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Nazarbek Malayev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to the Kyrgyz Republic Nicholas Bowler in Bishkek. Richard Dion, Senior Advisor of the Connex platform, became an important talks' participant and presented the unique opportunities offered by this initiative.

The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral economic and investment cooperation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties between Kyrgyzstan and the UK. During the conversation, Richard Dion spoke in detail about the role of Connex in providing advisory support to governments of developing countries, especially in infrastructure projects field, mining and renewable energy.

At the end of the meeting, all participants expressed their readiness for active partnership and continuation of dialogue to develop economic relations between the states.

The Connex initiative offers governments of developing countries support in negotiating large investment contracts, bringing together experts and companies to provide practical experience in key sectors of the economy.
