The day before, on April 1, the regional tourism forum-dialogue “Nowruz - the most ancient cultural and tourist heritage of the region” was held in the city of Khujand.

Kyrgyzstan was represented at the forum by Erdenet Kasymov, Director of the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the forum, 30 memorandums of cooperation were signed between tourism operators of the three countries, 14 of which were signed with Kyrgyz companies. A total of 16 tourism companies participated in the event at the invitation of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan. The participants discussed the prospects of creating joint tourist routes and further deepening partnership in tourism.

Kyrgyzstan also organized a national exhibition featuring traditional handicrafts and ethnic clothing, demonstrating the country's rich cultural heritage.
