    Adylbek Kasymaliyev concludes working visit to Washington

    The working visit of Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev to Washington, where he participated in the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, has come to an end. The visit was a significant step in the development of international cooperation and attracting investment to key sectors of the Kyrgyz economy.

    The highlight of the visit was talks with World Bank leadership, including Managing Director for Operations Anna Bjerde and Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani.

    During the meeting, the bank's current projects in Kyrgyzstan were discussed, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the Kambarata HPP-1 construction project, which is considered strategically important for the republic's energy security.

    As a result of the talks, a number of bilateral agreements were signed to support the implementation of joint projects.

    On the sidelines of the international forum, talks were also held with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank and the Global Partnership for Education. The parties discussed the possibility of increasing investment in education and the development of infrastructure initiatives.

    During his visit, Adylbek Kasymaliyev spoke at a round table of the Kyrgyz-American Business Council, where he presented Kyrgyzstan's investment potential to American companies and investors. In addition, separate meetings were held with the leadership of leading American corporations to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the financial and technological sectors.

    The visit program focused on the digitalization of financial services, with the delegation visiting the Visa processing center to learn about modern technologies and solutions in the field of e-commerce and payment systems.
