In 2024, the Mayor's Office of Bishkek City attracted investments of more than $1 billion, Mayor Aibek Junushalieva said at a meeting with the business community.

According to him, the development of this money continues today. Among the projects being implemented at the expense of investments:

• underground passage with escalators, elevators, service areas and parking for more than 220 cars;
• eco-technological plant to process solid domestic waste for electricity generation;
• reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities, improving the environmental situation in the city;
• construction of a multifunctional complex Royal Central Park.

"These investments include both external and internal sources of capital. I am sure that thanks to today's dialog with business, there will be even more such projects," emphasized Aybek Junushaliyev.

Within the framework of the meeting the opportunities for expanding partnership between the municipality and business were discussed. An open microphone was also organized, where entrepreneurs asked questions to the Mayor and made their proposals for the development of the capital.
