    What Kyrgyzstan is doing to ensure that Issyk-Kul does not suffer the fate of the Aral Sea

    Kyrgyzstan will manage to save 200 million cubic meters of water. Bakyt Torobayev, head of the Ministry of Water Resources of Agriculture and Processing Industry, told the Second National Water Forum.

    In particular, the measures that will help the country to conserve water will be as follows: introduction of water-saving technologies, modernization of irrigation networks, installation of automatic water-metering sensors.

    A total of $392.4 million will be spent on these innovations.

    Recall that today's forum is attended by government officials, representatives of the World Bank, international organizations such as the UN and UNESCO, as well as international experts from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Serbia and other countries.
