It is a question of creating new support measures that will allow companies and farmers to receive funding for the development of seed production, livestock breeding, processing of agricultural products, as well as improving trade and logistics processes. This will help regions to produce quality products, reduce dependence on imports and create stable markets within the union.
To implement these plans, the EEC will prepare proposals on how exactly financial support will be provided. Money for these purposes will be allocated from the EAEU budget, and it may be necessary to amend the rules of the Union for this purpose.
Recall that in 2024, the EAEU has already launched a program that allows enterprises to receive preferential loans. It was launched to support joint productions and modernization of plants, primarily small and medium-sized businesses. States compensate part of the interest rate on loans so that entrepreneurs can develop production. This program is designed for five years, and 3.5 billion rubles will be allocated for it in 2025.
A similar scheme will be used for the agricultural sector.
