Kyrgyzstan continues to expand its presence in the international jewelry market. On March 24, the International Jewelry Forum “At the Origins of Ox Treasures” kicked off in Dushanbe.

The event is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Kyrgyz Export Center.

According to the Kyrgyz Export Center, Kyrgyz jewelry shipments are showing steady growth. In 2023, exports amounted to $169.8 thousand, and the main markets were Kazakhstan, China and Uzbekistan. In 2024, this figure increased to $4.4 mln, with Russia, Hong Kong and India becoming the key export destinations.

Representatives from Malaysia, Italy, Singapore, China, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are also taking part in the forum. Kyrgyzstan's participation in this event contributes to the development of cooperation with partners from Central Asia and other regions, as well as the promotion of domestic jewelry at the global level.
