SCNS head promised to reduce the cost of legalisation of cars with Armenian and Abkhazian number plates

The head of the SCNS Kamchybek Tashiev met with owners of cars with Abkhazian and Armenian number plates. People complained that 100 thousand KGS for legalisation is too expensive.

In response, Tashiev said: the amount will be reduced to 50 thousand KGS for cars with engine volume up to 2 litres, laboratory examination will be reduced from 2.8 thousand to 1 thousand KGS, and daily parking - from 100 to 50 KGS. Separately, he promised to cancel the certificate from the Border Service, which used to be required for registration.

The meeting was held after appeals in social networks, where drivers asked the authorities to simplify the rules. Recall, legalisation started on March 15 and will last until mid-September. Now it is possible to register cars with documents, later - and without them, if the technique is in order. Drivers are allowed to use cars in the process of legalisation, but it is forbidden to sell or drive the car without completing registration. From 14 April, all issues can be resolved through local branches of the SCNS.
