According to the head of the department Almambet Shykmamatov, in the first quarter of 2025 collected 82 billion 966. 7 million KGS of taxes and insurance contributions.
The targets were exceeded by 5.3 billion KGS. Compared to the same period last year, revenues increased by KGS 17.5 billion. Of the total amount 63.8 billion KGS were taxes and fees, 19.1 billion - insurance premiums.
«Despite the fact that there were sceptics who predicted that the cancellation of the ETTN and additional benefits to taxpayers would affect the indicators on taxes and insurance contributions, the tax service not only fulfilled, but also exceeded the planned indicators. This is a clear confirmation that we are moving in the right direction», — said Almambet Shykmatov.
He noted that such a result was possible due to improved efficiency of tax administration, as well as the introduction of digital solutions.
«We have actively worked on bringing business out of the shadows, strengthened the analysis and monitoring of all sectors of the economy. I will separately note the positive effect of digitalisation of tax procedures - these are no longer just projects, but real tools that bring results», — he added.
At the same time, the head of the service drew attention to a number of problematic issues related to the activities of individual territorial tax authorities, and warned of personal responsibility.
In particular, insufficient efficiency of work on collection and reduction of arrears of taxes and insurance contributions, low quality of conducted audits, as well as poor co-operation with local authorities and other state structures in matters of tax administration were noted.
«Those who allowed poor results on certain tasks, as well as those who show negligence, will be taken the toughest measures, up to dismissal», — said Almambet Shykmamatov.
The board also emphasised the need for further introduction of digital solutions, strengthening of analytical approach in tax administration and strengthening of trust between tax authorities, taxpayers and business community.
Concluding his speech, the chairman of the STS thanked the employees for the work done and emphasised that the results achieved are the common merit of the entire tax service.
‘But there is a lot of work ahead. The year 2025 should become the year of a qualitative breakthrough in tax administration. We will cope if we work as a united, well-coordinated and open team,’ he summarised.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the State Tax Service Almambet Shykmatov, members of the board, heads of structural units of the central office, as well as heads of territorial tax authorities.
