The Service recalled that, according to the legislation, local councils do not have the authority to amend the Tax Code and other regulations governing tax policy. The Tax Service urged candidates not to mislead citizens and to base their candidacy on honest and real promises to ensure an informed choice of voters.
The introduction of the ECTN and EI aims to create a transparent and fair economic environment and combat the shadow economy. With their introduction, the state budget receives record amounts of tax revenues, relocated for the country's development. The tax reform also introduces simplified regimes and benefits for entrepreneurs, but the ECTN, EI use and cash register control machines (CRCMs) remain a prerequisite for obtaining them.
