The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new decree, according to which payments to donors of blood and its components will be increased. 

Now, those who donate blood free of charge will be paid compensation for food in the amount of three calculation indices. For those who donate blood for a fee, the amount will be eight estimated indicators.

The amount of compensation has also been increased for other types of donation. A donor will receive twelve estimated figures for plasmapheresis or two doses of platelets, and sixteen estimated figures for immune plasmapheresis. The payments will be made at the expense of the republican budget.

Financing is entrusted to the Ministry of Finance, while control over the implementation of the decree is entrusted to the Presidential Administration. The document will come into force 15 days after its official publication.
