03/17/2025, 11:53The economy of the Kyrgyz Republic maintains double-digit growth rates. GDP increased by 10.7% in January-February 2025 after 10.6% in January 2025. This is reported by analysts of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
Domestic trade continues to make a strong contribution to the dynamics of economic activity, increasing by 23.3% in January-February this year. Industrial production growth accelerated to 14.6% in January-February after 10.8% in January, driven by a recovery in output of basic metals.
‘In our assessment, domestic demand will continue to play the role of a key driver of the economy, contributing to GDP growth of 8.7% by the end of 2025,’ the analysts wrote.
