As part of Ring the Bell for Gender Equality, an international initiative led by global partners and supported by more than 116 stock exchanges around the world, a ceremony was held at the Innovation Center in Bishkek to celebrate the role of the private sector in women's economic empowerment.

The event was organized by the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange with the support of IFC and UN Women. This year it was held under the theme “Investing in Gender Equality: 100 Years of Women's Movement in the Kyrgyz Republic, 50 Years of International Women's Day, 30 Years of Beijing Platform”. An important event was also the celebration of the fifth anniversary of KSE joining the UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (UN SSE) aimed at developing sustainable financial markets.

The event became a significant platform for dialogue between representatives of business, government agencies, international organizations and civil society. The participants discussed ways to expand women's economic rights, as well as the role of financial institutions in building an inclusive economy that creates equal opportunities for entrepreneurship and investment.

An important part of the program was the presentation of awards to leaders who have made a significant contribution to the promotion of gender equality in the country. This is not only a recognition of achievements, but also an incentive to further develop inclusive business models and support women's leadership.
