Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Digitalisation Cooperation

A meeting took place at the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of Kyrgyzstan between Deputy Minister Sergei Slesarev and Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Rapil Zhoshybayev.

The discussion centered on bilateral agreements concerning telecommunications and radio frequency coordination in border areas. The Kazakh side confirmed its commitment to advancing these agreements.

Another topic of discussion was the upcoming visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, with the possibility of including IT-related topics in the agenda for the Youth Forum in Issyk-Kul. Following the talks, both parties expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation in digital development.
