Provision of Kyrgyzstan with seeds for spring sowing was 94%. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the republic 60.8 thousand tonnes of seeds of grain ear crops were filled with 64.6 thousand tonnes. Including the supply of seeds of spring wheat reached 93.8%, and spring barley - 94%. The need for seeds of oats, buckwheat, rice, soya and tobacco has been fully covered.

In other crops the availability varies: maize - 93.8%, sunflower - 99%, grain legumes - 99.9%, cotton - 85.5%. The least provided with seeds are alfalfa (46.2%), sainfoin (56.9%) and sugar beet (55.7%).

Specialists of the Department of Agriculture have already checked 34.7 thousand tonnes of seed, of which 33.9 thousand tonnes have been brought to condition. This is 55.9% of the total volume, including 51.4% of spring wheat and 58% of spring barley.
