The JK Committee approved the draft law on transformation of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development

On 14 April, the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh considered and approved in three readings the draft law on ratification of the agreement between the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to Deputy Finance Minister Altynbek Kudaiberdiyev, the document provides for the transformation of the fund into an independent international financial organisation.

This, according to him, will create more favourable conditions for attracting investment in Kyrgyzstan and expand opportunities for financing state investment projects in the fields of energy, transport, agriculture, health, education and others.
