The participants - representatives of government agencies and businesses - summarised the results of their work for 2024 and identified key tasks for 2025. The discussion centred on the introduction of digital solutions to accelerate trade operations and remove barriers in the region.
Priority areas for 2025 include the development of digital trade tools, increased logistics transparency and unification of customs procedures. Given the growing volumes of traffic, participants noted the need for deep integration of trade routes and upgrading the skills of foreign trade specialists.
The GIZ project aims to create a unified approach to facilitating cross-border trade, which is especially important in the context of expanding economic ties. The meeting stressed that digitalisation will be a key factor in optimising trade processes and accelerating trade turnover in Central Asia.
