04/29/2025, 09:45A meeting between the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, took place in Bishkek.
During the talks, the parties discussed the development of trade and economic ties. Kasymaliyev confirmed Kyrgyzstan's interest in deepening cooperation in agriculture, energy, light industry, and mining.
He noted that reaching a trade turnover of $1 billion was an important milestone in relations between the two countries and set a new goal of increasing this amount to $5 billion in the coming years.
Among Kyrgyzstan's priorities were improving the investment climate, supporting the private sector, removing administrative barriers, and improving legislation.
The parties paid special attention to the role of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as issues related to banking and migration.
Numan Kurtulmuş expressed Turkey's readiness to further strengthen ties and increase trade with Kyrgyzstan.
