04/03/2025, 14:18The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic has presented a plan for the development of the industry for 2025-2030. Issues of digitalisation, improved safety and sustainable development were key topics at a meeting chaired by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, on 3 April.
The meeting was attended by the head of the transport ministry Absattar Syrgabaev, his deputies and heads of departments. As part of the discussion, the ministry was given specific tasks aimed at modernising infrastructure, introducing digital solutions to manage traffic flows and developing the logistics network.
The implementation of the five-year strategy is expected to improve road safety, increase the efficiency of freight transport and create conditions for attracting investment in the transport sector.
