Freight transportation increased by 6%, with the largest increase in Talas oblast (by 1.19 million tons), while in Naryn and Batken oblasts the growth was minimal. It should be noted that in Bishkek and Chui oblast, where the bulk of cargo flows are concentrated, the increase was relatively small. But in the city of Osh it is significant.
Passenger transportation grew even more noticeably - by 11%. Bishkek and Osh, as well as Chui and Jalal-Abad oblasts are the leaders here. This growth is probably due to increased mobility of the population, growth of tourism and improvement of transport infrastructure in these regions. However, the minimum indicators are in Talas, Batken and Naryn oblasts.
