The Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor Coordination Platform was opened in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. The ceremony, held on 3 October, was attended by Kyrgyz Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Bekzhan Rysmendeev. 

The event brought together representatives of various countries along this strategically important route.

During the event, Bekzhan Rysmendeev made a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to the European Commission and the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for organising the event. He emphasised the KR's interest in the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor development and supported initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and multimodal logistics.

The coordination platform is designed to become a powerful tool for monitoring and facilitating project implementation, attracting investments and strengthening cooperation between stakeholders.

During his working trip to Turkmenistan, Bekzhan Rysmendeev also met with the Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications of Turkmenistan, Mammetkhan Chakyev. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral partnership, noted the significant growth of cargo turnover between the two states and agreed on joint efforts to create favourable conditions for business.
