The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation together with the Italian Trade Agency will organize events for the business community to present opportunities for cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. The event will be held on October 3, 2024, at the headquarters of the Italian Trade Agency in Rome.

The main objective of the meeting is to present to Italian companies and associations an overview of the opportunities offered by the Kyrgyz market.

Special attention will be paid to strategic sectors such as hydropower and agriculture, which have great potential due to the country's rich mineral and water resources, and its important geographical position in the centre of the Asian region.

The event will be held in the framework of the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to Italy.

The program includes B2B sessions where Italian companies will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of Kyrgyz businesses, and the plenary session with presentations of opportunities for trade and industrial partnerships. The main sectors for discussion include energy, textiles, banking, agribusiness and water resources.
