Last week, the Ministry of Finance successfully fulfilled obligations on state treasury bonds, paying a total of 1 billion 411 million KGS.

In particular, on December 11, 7-year bonds for 541 million KGS were redeemed, and on December 12, 2-year government securities for 870 million KGS were redeemed.

It should be noted that 2-year bonds were placed at 14.99% per annum. Their realization was carried out in two stages: the main auction held on December 9, 2022 attracted 750 million KGS, and the additional placement on December 12 brought another 120 million KGS.

A similar mechanism was used for the 7-year bonds placed as part of the auction on December 8, 2017, which raised KGS 41 million. Later, at an additional auction on December 11, the placement volume amounted to KGS 500 million. The annual yield on the 7-year securities reached 16.2%.
