    Domestic debt increased by 1.7 bln KGS due to placement of three-year bonds

    At the end of last week, the volume of domestic debt of Kyrgyzstan, formed by placing government securities through the National Bank, reached 181 billion 233.8 million KGS. Such data is given by the regulator.

    Compared to the beginning of the week, when the indicator amounted to 179 billion 533 million KGS, the internal debt increased by 1.7 billion KGS. The growth was entirely due to the placement of three-year treasury bonds. The volume of liabilities on these securities increased from KGS 36.6 bln to KGS 38.3 bln.

    The placement auction was held on April 4. All issued bonds were purchased by investors. Yield on these securities amounted to 12.91% per annum.

    Besides, last week, on April 11, placement of two-year bonds took place. At the announced issue of KGS 350 mln, only KGS 73.97 mln was placed. The yield of the securities amounted to 13.1%.
