Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Ravshanbek Sabirov signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Nippon Travel Agency, one of the oldest tour companies in the country, during his visit to Japan. The document lays the foundation for partnership in the spheres of labour mobility, education and tourism.

The parties agreed to launch internship and training programmes, primarily for work in tourism, hotel service and customer service. Japan expressed readiness to accept Kyrgyzstani citizens on a priority basis if they have language skills and to connect them to its partner employment network.

In addition, the Japanese side expressed interest in developing bilateral tourism. Nippon Travel Agency expressed readiness for direct co-operation with the Kyrgyz Ministry, which opens up opportunities for sustainable humanitarian and social partnership.
