Since the beginning of the year, maternity allowance has been paid to 26 thousand 498 women in labor

From January 1, 2024, the amount of maternity allowance was increased by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers from the 11th working day for working women in the plain area.

The amount of the benefit increased from 10 to 20 calculation indicators, which corresponds to an increase of 100% (from 1 thousand soms to 2 thousand soms). Thus, the average amount of allowance before the increase was 3 thousand 600 soms, and from January 1, 2024 it is 7 thousand 500 soms.

As of December 1, 2024, the agency paid maternity allowance for 548.5 million soms to 26 thousand 498 women.
