It will be possible to appoint specialists without the necessary experience to state positions - new law adopted

The Jogorku Kenesh has adopted in three readings a draft constitutional law that changes the requirements for candidates for positions in the Cabinet of Ministers and other executive bodies.

Now, if necessary, not only those who meet formal requirements for seniority, but also specialists with professional experience and achievements in their field - even if they have not previously worked in the civil service - can be appointed to senior positions.

The bill was initiated by MPs Marlen Mamataliyev, Baktybek Sydykov, Ulugbek Ormonov, Akylbek Tumonbaev, Kunduzbek Sulaimanov, Dinara Ashimova and Bekmurza Ergeshov.
