Tax officials were fined for illegal sanctions against entrepreneurs

In Bishkek and Chui oblast, employees of the Tax Service illegally fined entrepreneurs, according to the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan. Instead of the warning provided for by law, tax inspectors issued fines from 5 to 13 thousand KGS.

An inspection showed that the tax inspectors' actions did not comply with legal requirements. The General Prosecutor's Office cancelled all illegal fines, and the guilty employees were brought to responsibility.

As a result, 25 employees of the Tax Service were fined 10 thousand KGS each for violation of the legislation.
