The volume of trades in the U.S. dollar on the interbank market of Kyrgyzstan for the first week of March increased by 6.96% compared to the last week of February. If in the period from February 24 to 28 the total volume of transactions amounted to $41.79 mln, then from March 3 to 7 this indicator increased to $44.7 mln.

During the week dollar rate remained stable at the trades. All deals from March 3 to March 7 were made at the price of Som 87.45 per dollar, both at the opening and closing of the trades.

It should be noted that in the period from February 24 to 28, the rate also remained almost unchanged and amounted to 87.45 soms, except for February 24, when the closing rate decreased to 87.4482 soms.

In the first week of March deals with settlements on the date of the deal were made for $16.4 mln, while deals with settlements on other dates were made for $28.3 mln. For comparison, at the end of February the volume of trades with settlements on the date of the deal was $13.37 mln, and with settlements on other dates - $28.42 mln.

Thus, during the week the proportion of deals with instant settlements increased, while the volume of deals with delayed settlements remained almost at the same level.
