In 2024, the volume of remittances sent by individuals from Kyrgyzstan abroad amounted to $445.75 mln. This is 20.6% less than in 2023, when this indicator amounted to $561.2 mln.

The largest outflow was recorded in January, when $56.4 mln was withdrawn from the country. However, in the following months the rate of outflow slowed down.

Russia remains the main recipient of remittances from Kyrgyzstan - $371.9 mln will be sent in 2024. However, compared to 2023, remittances to Russia decreased by 23.06%.

Turkey ranked second among the destinations of capital outflows - $57.47 mln. There is also a decline here: outflows decreased by 13.52% compared to last year.
