Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Almambet Shykmamatov during a working trip to Talas oblast confirmed the decision to return the patent system of taxation for trade entities. The meeting with entrepreneurs was held April 23 in the format of an open dialog, where they discussed the latest changes in tax legislation and the provisions of the new decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on business support.

According to Shykmamatov, the return of patents is based on the analysis of the current situation and is aimed at reducing the tax burden on small and medium-sized businesses. This decision is implemented on the instructions of the president and is part of a set of measures to create a favorable tax environment.

The head of the State Tax Service noted that the state is developing adapted and simplified mechanisms of tax administration, especially relevant in the conditions of regional specifics. The meeting also raised questions about cash registers, electronic invoices and penalties for late payment of taxes.

Entrepreneurs voiced their proposals, which, according to Shykmamatov, will be taken into account in the further adaptation of tax policy. The STS will continue explanatory work and close interaction with the business community.
