Slovakia may become a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan in the automotive industry

Speaking at the Kyrgyzstan-Slovakia business forum, Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov noted that Slovakia occupies a key place in the European automotive industry, forming up to 14% of the country's GDP and up to 35% of its exports.

Kyrgyzstan, he said, pays special attention to the development of green technologies and environmentally friendly transportation.

“We strive for sustainable development and implementation of projects in the field of electric vehicles, including production, assembly, supply of components and development of charging station infrastructure,” the minister emphasized.

He added that Slovakia can become a strategic partner of Kyrgyzstan in this direction.
