Akylbek Zhaparov emphasized that artificial intelligence is not just a tool, but a new language in which humanity writes its future. He noted that digitalization is developing rapidly in Kyrgyzstan, and these efforts are already yielding tangible results. The digital government infrastructure, promotion of e-services, initiatives to use supercomputers and the creation of a Kyrgyz-language chatbot are prime examples of how technology is becoming part of the national identity.
E-government in the country is no longer a fantasy, but a reality. Electronic document management in the cabinet has saved a huge amount of paper and time, as well as solved many issues promptly. In addition, he noted that artificial intelligence contributes to the emergence of new unique jobs, improving the quality of life of the population and even the preservation of cultural heritage.
As an example, he cited the project “Akylai”, which demonstrates that artificial intelligence can not only perform functional tasks, but also become a symbol of the revival of language and traditions.
At the same time, Zhaparov emphasized that the use of AI entails not only opportunities, but also responsibility. Special attention is paid to the protection of citizens' data, transparency of algorithms and minimization of potential risks.
A McKinsey report shows that by 2030, artificial intelligence could increase global GDP by 20 trillion dollars. For Kyrgyzstan, participation in this race means not only the pursuit of economic growth, but also the creation of a new model of cooperation and innovation.
In the current academic year, the quota of budget places for IT specialties was increased from 500 to 4 thousand places. The lecture was organized with the participation of representatives of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence.
