The construction of a car manufacturing plant in Sokuluk district of Chui region, which was scheduled to be launched in August 2024, has been delayed by four months. According to information provided by the Ministry of Economy.

At the moment, the plant is still under construction.

Recall, the project is realized within the framework of cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers, local enterprises and the Chinese company China Hubei Zhuoyue Group. The total investment at the first stage will amount to $115 million, and the design capacity of the plant - more than 80 thousand cars per year. It is expected that the plant, which is focused on the assembly of electric cars, passenger cars and commercial vehicles, will start operating in the near future.
