Construction companies will be obliged to build schools and kindergartens next to their residential buildings

Construction companies in Kyrgyzstan will be obliged to build schools and kindergartens along with residential buildings. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobayev at the Zhogorku Kenesh meeting.

He emphasised that the relevant law was already being drafted. This is because there is an acute shortage of those in the capital city.

‘When approving projects of multi-storey buildings, the number of future residents will be taken into account, and development companies will be obliged to build social facilities, such as schools and kindergartens, based on the construction area,’ Bakyt Torobayev said.
