Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan continue to actively develop trade and economic cooperation. On April 7 in Tashkent, as part of the promotion of Kyrgyz products, the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan under the Ministry of Economy organized a rich program of business meetings for the trade mission of the State Institution “Kyrgyz Export Center”.

One of the key events was the discussion with the Uzbek company Master Global Plyus on the launch of production of juices and fruit purees from Kyrgyz apricots and apples.

It is specified that the products will be produced under the Kyrgyz brand, which will be an important step to promote the domestic agro-sector and create added value within the region. The production capacity of the enterprise will allow processing fruit during the harvest season, which opens new prospects for farmers in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, as part of the visit, the delegation visited the new wholesale market FOOD CITY in Kuilyuk, where they discussed the terms of lease of trading space and organization of supplies of Kyrgyz goods. The representatives of the trade mission were shown the modern infrastructure of the market.

The program ended with a meeting with the management of MAKRO supermarket chain, where they discussed the supply of canned vegetables, meat and dairy products, soft drinks and other products from Kyrgyzstan.
