    In 2025, Kyrgyzstan was included in the top 50 best holiday destinations according to the Financial Times Travel section

    In 2025, Kyrgyzstan entered the list of 50 best holiday destinations according to the authors of the Travel section of the Financial Times. This is reported by the Tourism Support and Development Fund. 

    One of the most unique proposals was an equestrian tour through the picturesque areas of At-Bashy, inspired by the adventures of Alexandra Tolstoy. In 1999, she travelled more than 8 thousand kilometres along the Silk Road on horseback, and it was here, in At-Bashy, that her heart remained forever. It is a place with endless valleys, yaks and yurts, where nature is simply mesmerising.

    This year, Alexandra Tolstaya is organising an eight-day trip through this beautiful region, including an overnight stay at Kol-Suu Lake, an incredible place with turquoise water, surrounded by sharp cliffs where snow leopards can be found.
