12/19/2024, 13:22Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh adopted the draft of the new Labor Code. The new version of the code provides for New Year vacations from January 1 to January 6, as well as May vacations from May 1 to May 8.
Non-working holidays will be March 8 and 21, May 5 and 9, and August 31. Public holidays will be February 23, April 7, November 7-8. However, they will be working days. Also, the rule of postponing days off if the holidays fall on Saturday or Sunday is canceled.
Also in the adopted draft Labor Code there are a number of innovations on the issues of conclusion of labor contracts, remote work, the statute of limitations for filing claims for wage recovery and others.
